STYLING CONSULTATION
This is where the fun starts!
First we need to determine what the end goal of your session is. What are we shooting for? How and where will you display your images? What is special or unique about your family and how can we tell your story? We will talk about clothing, color and styling for your session, prop selection, the overall feel and style that you are wanting, how to coordinate your session for a cohesive and beautiful collection of portraits that will complement each other. Your session is artistically and creatively designed to the last detail.

Your Portrait Session
Your little one has arrived and it is time to schedule your newborn session.
The best time for newborn portraits is before baby is two weeks old. This is the time when they are most sleepy, the most curly. We want to capture all their newness and the little details of a newborn baby- their flaky skin, little wrinkles, tiny hands and feet, hairy ears and shoulders (my favorite!!), all the things you want to remember.
Your newborn session takes place in our professional studio located in Sheldon, Iowa. We have everything you could need during your session- diapers and wipes, a comfortable parent area where you can relax and even take a nap if needed, snacks and drinks. Our extensive collection of newborn props, fabrics, wraps and accessories have been carefully selected in our signature style. You will be able to enjoy the use of one of a kind pieces and accessories to make your session unique.

View & Order Appointment
This is my very favorite moment of the entire portrait experience.
All the planning, creative styling and preparation come together as you get to view your beautiful gallery of images. We will design the perfect art and heirloom pieces to display in your home.
Each portrait is carefully retouched and perfected for a beautiful presentation. We will help you select the perfect sizes of wall portraits for your space, design heirloom albums, and help you choose images that make your heart burst with joy. This is when you will place your order, so it is important that all decision makers attend.

Final Delivery
The wait is finally over! A few weeks after your order appointment, your portraits will be ready.
We will call or email you when your order has arrived and schedule a time for you to pick up your portraits. We can’t wait for you to have your beautiful products and treasures in hand to display in your home and share with loved ones. It truly is a blessing to be able to capture such a precious time in your life, and create beautiful images of those you love most.
We love to see our families year after year as your family grows and changes. We also offer milestone portrait sessions and one year sessions for your baby as they grow. Your little one grows so fast and is only little for such a short time. Let us capture each special milestone.
