One of our favorite family traditions has been picking strawberries each year! We look forward to this tradition every year!

Our Favorite Strawberry Farm in Northwest Iowa
Getting's Garden is my personal favorite tradition. I have been an avid strawberry lover since as far back as I can remember. One of my favorite memories is when my friends came to visit from Kansas City before my wedding and we went to the strawberry field to pick strawberries to dip in chocolate at our wedding (one of my absolute favorite treats!). There really is nothing quite like the taste of a fresh, home-grown strawberry! This particular family has added so many fun things to do over the years, it's been amazing watching them grow! Now my favorite tradition is taking my girls to pick berries each year and snap some photos along the way. They are always some of my favorite moments & memories!

The Petting Zoo is full of giggles and sweet little animals!
In recent years they have added a Mega Playground which is full of huge areas for the kids to play. From their mega-slide, tire mountain, petting zoo, farm bouncy house, Rainbow play set, custom corn pit, and strawberry jumping pad, our family is always entertained for HOURS!
They really do smell as good as they taste! We are a family full of strawberry lovers!

If you've never had a fresh strawberry, straight from the vine, you are missing out! They are sooo juicy and delicious! Getting's also has a market with tons of sweet treats such as strawberry donuts, ice cream, slushies (our FAVORITE) and so many amazing homemade jams and jars of goodies! We prefer to pick our own strawberries but they also have pre-picked options for those who may not want to be out in the heat, but still want to enjoy the incredible strawberries!
